Kia Kima Alumni Homecoming (September 25, 2026)

Join us for the first annual Kia Kima Alumni Homecoming. A weekend that's precisely centered around coming home.

We invite you to join us in the Ozarks for a full weekend of revelry and nostalgia. From canoe floats down the South Fork to staying up late by the campfire, this weekend is focused around bringing camp alumni together for community. We hope you'll join us for a weekend packed with camp stories in our favorite place on earth.

Note: Although the KKAA Homecoming is a family-friendly event, it is not a Scouting event. Participants must therefore be 21+ or accompanied by a parent/guardian. All participants must be registered members of the KKAA to purchase tickets and attend.

Program

The tentative schedule includes a welcome cocktail reception on Friday evening on the porch of the Administration Building, canoe floats down the South Fork River, and other program elements. This weekend is also intended to have plenty of unstructured time for alumni to be able to enjoy Kia Kima--whether that's sitting in the South Fork River, hiking Mount Mesara, or just exploring the Reservation.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided at KKSR on Saturday, but alumni are also welcome to visit their favorite restaurants in town for breakfast or lunch. We are planning on a catered dinner on Saturday.

Lodging

If you are interested in staying at KKSR, you can camp for free or rent a bed in a shared cabin for $20 a bed. You are also welcome to stay off-property. If you are looking for a rental cabin, we recommend considering the Camp Miramichee Falls cabins, which are owned and restored by a Miramichee alum and a friend of Kia Kima.
